No he leido Mi Pais Inventado en dos meses, a causa de NaNoWriMo y los vacacciones, pero anoche leí unas pocas paginas. Went on that dinner/dance cruise last night. Let it suffice to say that I did not get to wear my new dancing shoes, and nearly died. Really, the more excited I get about things, the more they go wrong.

So I'm about fifty pages from the end of la Piedra Filosofal, which kind of gives me a fuzzy feeling. I don't doubt that I'll finish it, barring disaster or a sudden lack of interest.

Why does inability seem like an unacceptable reason to not finish something, but boredom is an acceptable one?

Books arrived! And they look so cool. I only wish I knew what they said. But I did the first chapter in La ciudad de las bestias, then finished chapter 10 in La piedra filosofal, so I think "slow and steady" is going to be the key here.
